One of my favorite bands is “Crystal Castles”. They are a Canadian experimental electronic duo formed by Ethan Kath (producer) and Alice Glass (vocalist)

Ethan met Alice in Toronto when she was 15, then Ethan discovered a soundcheck recording named “Alice Practice”, and he uploaded to the web under the name of the band “Crystal Castles”. That was the first song and it’s in the first album named “Crystal Castles I”.

Then in 2010, they released “Crystal Castles II”, and in 2012 they released “(III)”. On the last album we can see a change in the sound of the band, as well as in the lyrics of the songs. For me, so far, is the best album.

I love “Crystal Castles” because it’s a band that's out of this world. All they do is something new and crazy, and also at concerts, they try to give to their public the best of the shows and to stay close to the people that listen to them.

I don’t know which is my favorite song because they all have something special about them, and each one makes me feel differently when I hear them. But I really like “Insulin”, “Plague, “Sad eyes”, “Celestica”, “Lovers who uncover”, “Not in love” and “Affection”.
